Fantasy Insight - New EPL Players

These players will be available for low prices and can be integral for you to build a strong team. They will give you the leverage required to pick the premium players and also give your team a solid points output.
Let us preview the potential top players in each position:

FORWARDS

Gervinho (Arsenal) Market Price: 6.55
His price will be minimal being a new addition to the premier league. Looking at what he has done in the last 2 seasons with Lille he seems to be a good bet. His stats show that in a total of potential 76 league games, he played in 67 of them and while doing so scored 28 goals and 14 assists in the process. Last season he was Lille's 2nd highest scorer with 15 goals and had joint top assists with a total of 10 in 35 matches.
August Fixtures:
The Issue in picking him is not the player but the team. Arsenal start off the campaign in a very difficult month of august in which they face Newcastle(A) in the opener followed by Liverpool(H) and ManUtd(A) to finish of the month. Be wary of all Arsenal players during this period.

Jay Bothroyd(QPR) Market Price: 6.55
This 6'3'' forward played for Cardiif City last season in the championship, scoring 18 goals and 8 assists. He would be a good enabler in fantasy teams when facing the appropriate opposition. QPR already having a talented player like Adel Tarbaat who led in the assists category in the championship could mean a good partnership, but that remains to be seen. None the less this player could be one to look out for.
August Fixtures:
Not by any means a walk in the park as all these fixtures could  be tricky in some fashion for the championship winners. How Bothroyd will adjust in his new team and a new league, these 3 games will give a definite idea of that. Bolton(HOME),Everton(AWAY),Wigan(A)

Grant Holt (Norwich City) Market Price: 6.55
Holt has been a leading goals scorer in his last 3 years of career football. He has scored 50+ goals in all competitions for norwich in the past two seasons even surpassing the 30 goal mark in his first year for the canaries. He bagged 21 goals and 14 assists last season with norwich.
He would be the focal point of norwich city's attack and is the best bet to be their top goal getter.
August Fixtures:
Wigan(A),Stoke(H),Chelsea(A)

Danny Graham (Swansea City) Market Price: 6.55
The top scorer in the Championship last season with 24 goals while playing for Watford. He has made a switch to premier league bound swansea and will come in as their number one striker. With the support of Sinclair from the midfield, this duo should be what swansea's attack would be all about the coming fantasy season.
August fixtures:
Man City(A), Wigan(H), Sunderland(H)

Scott Sinclair (Swansea City) Market Price: 5.25
Scott Sinclair scored his second career hat-trick at Wembley in the Championship Play-off Final including 2 penalties, which helped Swansea to a 4-2 victory, securing top flight football for the first time since 1983 and to the Premier League for the first time. Scoring 19 league goals in 43 matches he is the teams strongest attacking option in the midfield. He hasn't been able to prove himself on this stage before but all seems to be setup for him to showcase his talents. The drawback is hes a winger listed as a forward.
August fixtures:
Man City(A), Wigan(H), Sunderland(H)

MIDFIELDERS

Adel Taarabt (QPR) (IF HE DOESNT TRANSFER TO PSG) Market Price: 6.04
This Moroccan ace, with his 19 goals and 16 assists helped QPR secure the npower Championship title. Taarabt also won the Football League's Player of the Year title, and without a doubt deserved it too. He is this years "Charlie Adam".  He has already played in the premier league with the spurs but only as a fringe player and never really made his mark.
Neil Warnock made a master stroke by making his stay permanent for 2010-11 season and he proved his worth by delivering for QPR. If he carries on the form to EPL, should be a brilliant pick for all fantasy managers and is our pick for season. There is obviously heavy speculation of him moving away from Loftus road but seems to be not materializing. Lets hope we see him in the premier league this season.
August Fixtures:
Bolton(H),Everton(A),Wigan(A).

Wesley Hoolahan (Norwich City) Market Price: 6.04
Plays in the attacking midfield role for norwich and is a strong support to the generally deployed two man strike force. Gets a decent amount of shots per game and had the statistics of 10 goals and 9 assists last season. He is a decent enabler in the midfield.
August Fixtures:
Wigan(A),Stoke(H),Chelsea(A)

Yohan Cabaye (Newcastle Utd.) Market Price: 6.04
Cabaye is a central midfielder and has spent most of his professional career with Lille. He has played the anchor role for his team and is the player who creates opportunities for his team mates to get in attacking situation. As a fantasy prospect he is not ideal. For comparison he would be Totenhams Modric instead of Van Der Vaart. He was though the primary penalty taker for Lille scoring most chunk of his goals from the spot. With Nolan gone, he seems to be the direct replacement.
August Fixtures:
Arsenal(H), Sunderland(A), Fulham(H)

DEFENDERS & GOALKEEPERS

Kaspars Gorkss (QPR) Market Price: 6.12
Gorkss was at the heart of the QPR defence last term. This giant defender doesn't hesitate before putting his head where it hurts and would tend to be in the mix for quite a few phantom points. Had scored 3 goals each in the last two seasons and is the most consistent starter in the back four. Would be a filler for fantasy managers at a cost of 6.13.
August Fixtures:
Bolton(H),Everton(A),Wigan(A).

John Arne Riise (Fulham) Market Price: 6.12
Riise is no short of experience in playing in the premier league having spent seven years with Liverpool before moving to Roma in 2008. The Norwegian left back last season failed to score in 32 games for Roma after scoring 7 in his first 2 seasons. Although he did collect 6 assists. He is a good addition to a developing squad and his experience will help the overall performance of the team. For the price he is available Riise is a decent pick and has a tendency to shoot when he get even half a chance, great proposition for fantasy managers. Basically a poor mans Kolarov.
August Fixtures:
Aston Villa(H), Wolves(A), Newcastle(A)

David de Gea (Manchester United) Market Price: 5.91
THE goal keeper for the season...period. He'll be as cheap as they come and will have the support of one of the strongest back lines in the premier league. His nerve is excellent and he keeps cool in pressure situations. Being 6'4" tall and commanding from high balls, he is also very fast.
De Gea has already tasted european glory with Atletico and has a lot of experience under his belt even for his young age. Don't hesitate to pick this player. He is a solid pick for minimal investment.
August Fixtures:
West Brom(A), Totenham(H), Arsenal(H)

Patrick Kenny (QPR) Market Price: 5.91
Last season was the first season Kenny spent with the R's. At the end of his first season with the club Kenny was voted both players player of the season and fans player of the season. QPR managed to keep 24 clean sheets last season and kenny had a lot to do with that. He is a viable option when facing the right opposition.
August Fixtures:
Bolton(H), Everton(A), Wigan(A).

Dorus de Vries (Wolves) Market Price: 5.91
Played for swansea city last 4 seasons before joining wolves as a free agent. Was a permanent fixture for swansea in their promotion winning campaign. There is uncertainty about which goalkeeper would play between the sticks for wolves. This would clarify once few fixtures have been played out. Dorus de Vries has won the Football League's Golden Glove award for the Championship in the 2009-10 season with 25 clean sheets. He had 21 clean sheets last season.
August Fixtures:
Blackburn(A), Fulham(H), Aston Villa(A)
